UPDATE
FROM THE
OHIO
CAMPAIGN TO PROTECT MARRIAGE
If
you have not already planned to do so, use the
Independence Day weekend to conduct voter
registration drives alongside signature
gathering for the marriage protection amendment.
4th of July events and patriotic church services
are opportune times to remind people of their
opportunities to be good stewards of the
freedoms we enjoy in America.
News
from across Ohio...

Brett and Dan took several days off work for a
road trip through southeast Ohio. As they drove
through more than a dozen counties, they stopped
in each town they came to, targeting the
churches with information about the petition
campaign. The men said they were overwhelmed at
the tremendous response they received from one
after another. They called the campaign office
to testify that they are changed men from their
experience. "The good people we came
across, mile after mile, showed us that the
heart of American and Ohio is still good, and it
exists in our churches," Brett said. He
believes that their trip could very likely
produce the minimum number of signatures needed
in 8 or 10 or 12 of those counties. Thanks,
Brett & Dan, for your labor of love!
