DON'T
BE DECEIVED AND DON'T BE
CONFUSED!
When
you can't win with the truth, just lie, right?
In a last ditch effort to attempt to confuse
Ohio voters regarding Issue 1, opponents of the
marriage protection amendment have conducted a
very deceptive automated telephone campaign that
invokes the names of a few liberal Republican
leaders who have come out against the marriage
amendment.
Gov.
Bob Taft, Atty. General Jim Petro, Sens. George
Voinovich and Mike DeWine listened only to
homosexual advocates and attorneys, believed
their lies about the effect of Issue 1, and
decided to publicly oppose it. Now the same
homosexual activists are invoking their names
with a "protect marriage" phone call
that is encouraging a NO vote.
The
truth is that Secretary of State Ken Blackwell,
State Auditor Betty Montgomery, State Treasurer
Joe Deters, and dozens of State Senators and
Representatives have all publicly ENDORSED Issue
1. They know the truth about its impact
and know that a YES vote protects marriage.
So the few opposing it doesn't mean anything
more than a few more votes for the other side.
Please
do whatever you can to contact your friends and
family to remind them that a YES vote is what
protects marriage. We have created a web
page for you to do this with a simple
explanation of Issue 1 and reminder to vote YES.
Please

PROTECT MARRIAGE.
