Voter Registration

If you were not registered to vote in Ohio by October 4, you will likely not be able to vote in the November 2 General Election. If that is the case, you can still fill out a voter registration form from the Internet, print it and then mail it to the Secretary of State (SOS) so that you are registered for the next election.

The online form to which you will be directed is a standard form certified by Federal election laws and will be accepted in Ohio as a legal registration. Although the print & mail form will be being accepted, you will likely receive another form to fill out that is on heavier card stock for better keeping in a permanent file.
